The PEAC Museum cordially invites you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition TEN BY ONE and is pleased to present it's first solo exhibition by Schirin Kretschmann (born in 1980 in Karlsruhe, lives in Berlin and Munich). The exhibition is one of the artist's most comprehensive to date and presents works created exclusively for this occasion. The works were created in response to the exhibition venue, its architecture, and its use. What shapes a space? Which structures—visible or invisible—define it? Kretschmann uses architectural conditions, materials, movement patterns, and acoustic traces and reinterprets them. In subtle interventions, performances, and sound and video works, she shifts familiar perspectives and at the same time questions the conditions under which art is created and perceived. The works constantly reconnect, remain open to spontaneous interactions, and create an exciting sphere that invites a multi-layered experience.
