In 2024, the Paul Ege Art Prize will be awarded for the 7th time. The Prize commemorates the entrepreneur, patron of the arts and art collector Paul Ege, who died in 2019. The prize is awarded every three years in cooperation with the city of Freiburg and is aimed at emerging artists from the tri-border region who are selected by an independent jury of experts. In addition to the prize money of 10,000 euros, the winner will also receive a solo presentation at the PEAC Museum, which will be opened that evening.
